This is a new series started in 2021 and titled Blanc. The base colour is a strong terracotta red and then many layers of thin white and off white paint have been added. French tissue has been collaged on. The work is very feminine and has an element of romance. I enjoyed the process of this painting and enjoy sitting with it, seeing the subtle nuances.
