This painting is a snap shot of 2020 for me. From the recent Lockdown Series, Social Distancing was painted during Covid-19. The artworks created at this time were  impacted by being locked down with my family and a sense of a dark cloud over the world. The vessels are spread out, with equal distance, the colours are calm. I never paint the vessels like this and it made me feel uncomfortable to not overlap them. After several drawing and sketches, I decided the shadows couldn't overlap either to create the spacing- hence the lighting direction. 

This work is available as the original painting OR as a Fine Art Giclee Print Printed on Canson Edition Etching Rag Paper 310 gsm.
