‘Three Tight Vessels' is from the recent Lockdown Series was painted during Covid-19. The work was impacted by the time of being locked down with my family, managing home schooling and a sense of a dark cloud over the world. The vessels gathered in tightly creating an uncomfortable tension. The image has many, very thin transparent layers of paint applied. The cotton rag paper floats in the box frame.
